ABOUT Castor Oil

Castor oil is a vegetable oil pressed from castor beans (Ricinus communis plant.) which can be made by solvent extraction and diverse processing of castor seed by using a well-equipped factory with modern and advanced machinery, controls and laboratory. The oil shall be the genuine refined product of castor seed (Ricinus communis).It shall be free from admixture with other oils or substances , and also practically free from sediments and suspected matter.

Because of its unique molecule structure there are numerous applications in various industrial segments.

Applications Castor oil

    1. lubricants : In Hydraluc Fluids and lubricants for 2 Stroke Engine
    1. greases, Paints, alkyd Resins
    1. Polyurethane: as the basic polyol in PU floor coatings, PU adhesives/ sealants and PU foams.
    1. cosmetics & personal care : used in lipstics,deodorant sticks and sun protecting products.
    1. pharmaceuticals : as an active ingredient and as laxative.
    1. electronics : as dielectric material for condensers.
    1. adhesives : both in PU adhesives and hot-melts.
    1. chemical industry: production of alkyd resins (for paints)
    1. as starting product for most other castor derivatives (for example DCO,HCO, ethoxylated castor oil)
